About the Role

Gubbachi Learning Community is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning professional to support programme monitoring, data quality, analysis, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making. The role involves strengthening monitoring systems, building programme team capacity, documenting significant change stories, and supporting internal and donor reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring data trustworthiness for audit.
  • Maintain a quality monitoring system to enable the generation of reports for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure programme teams use collected data for timely decision-making.
  • Design and implement capacity-building sessions for programme teams to support accurate data collection and understanding of reports.
  • Compare internal data with external data sources such as DISE, ASER, TFI, and other organisations like Akanksha.
  • Capture significant change stories as case studies of success and failure.
  • Build programme team capacity to provide relevant inputs for case studies through one-on-one mentoring or group interactions.
  • Identify data recording, management, and reporting tools appropriate to programme team capabilities and programme needs.
  • Design meaningful reports that assist on-ground decision-making.
  • Assist with regular donor reporting and other ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Stay up to date with evolving knowledge, practices, and trends in monitoring and evaluation, and contribute to developing new methodologies and tools.

Candidate Requirements

  • A suitable degree in a related field. The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree from a reputed institution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
  • Knowledge of Hindi and English.
  • Willingness to work in an in-office role in Kodathi, Bangalore.
  • Own vehicle required for job-related tasks.

  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Shift: Morning shift.
  • Working Days: 6 days per week.
  • Languages: Hindi and English.
