Accountant

Position Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounting transactions, supporting financial reporting, conducting reconciliations, and assisting with audit and taxation related activities. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, proficiency in accounting software, and good spreadsheet skills.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Post journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and related financial records.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial documentation.

Reconciliation

• Reconcile bank statements regularly.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and internal accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Auditing, Budgeting & Taxation

• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support budgeting-related activities.
• Handle basic taxation work.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to manage journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
• Bachelor's Degree such as B.Com or BBA (Finance).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment.

Role Details

• Work Mode: In-office.
• Working Days: 6 days per week.
• Shift Timing: Standard Shift.
• Probation Period: 3 months.
• Languages Required: Hindi and English.
