The Accountant will be responsible for managing the overall financial and accounting operations of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, procurement, inventory, cost control, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
The position will also support financial analysis, risk management, pricing, business planning, and decision-making while strengthening financial systems, internal controls, and reporting mechanisms across the organization and its FPOs.
The Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA) was established in 2004 with the goal of promoting sustainable food systems that are ecologically, economically, and socially viable.
CSA works on innovative approaches, practices, processes, and institutions to build resilience against climate and market risks for farmer households. Its primary work is spread across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
