Director/Associate Director – Corporate Partnerships

Job Description

We are looking for a senior leader to build and scale corporate fundraising in India. This role will focus on developing high-value relationships with CSR leaders, CEOs, CXOs, foundations, and other senior decision-makers to create meaningful corporate partnerships and drive significant fundraising outcomes.

The role requires strong commercial understanding, the ability to open doors, lead complex negotiations, build strategic partnerships, and develop a high-performing team. The successful candidate will own a significant fundraising mandate and play a key role in strengthening the organisation's corporate partnerships function.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale corporate fundraising and partnership opportunities across India.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with CSR leaders, CEOs, CXOs, foundations, and senior decision-makers.
• Identify and open doors to high-value corporate partnerships.
• Own a significant fundraising mandate and deliver against partnership and revenue targets.
• Lead complex partnership discussions, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Develop multi-year strategic partnerships with corporates and institutional partners.
• Understand corporate priorities and position social-impact propositions effectively.
• Build compelling pitches, presentations, and partnership narratives.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
• Strengthen the overall corporate partnerships strategy and fundraising pipeline.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, resilience, and commercial judgement while working towards ambitious goals.

Requirements

• 15–18+ years of experience in fundraising, CSR, corporate partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales.
• Strong network among corporate leaders, CSR heads, CEOs, CXOs, and senior decision-makers.
• Proven track record of building and closing large-value partnerships.
• Experience managing significant fundraising, sales, revenue, or partnership targets.
• Strong understanding of complex decision-making and sales cycles.
• Ability to understand corporate priorities and communicate a compelling social-impact proposition.
• Excellent storytelling, pitching, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Experience developing and managing multi-year strategic partnerships.
• Builder mindset with the ability to create systems, processes, and high-performing teams.
• Strong ownership, resilience, and commercial judgement.
• Genuine interest in social impact, particularly for candidates coming from enterprise or B2B sales backgrounds.
• Ability to build trust at the highest levels and close meaningful partnerships.
