Parivaar is a renowned humanitarian organization deeply rooted in the spiritual and humanistic ideals of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. Established in 2003 by Padma Shri Vinayak Lohani, a recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award from both IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta, the organization has received the prestigious 2011 National Award for Child Welfare, presented by the Honourable President of India. NGO’s mission extends to West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, where they are committed to transforming the lives of those in need. In West Bengal, they operate two residential institutions, offering a home to about 2100 children from vulnerable and underprivileged backgrounds. These institutions are the largest of their kind in West Bengal, providing comprehensive support to both boys and girls. In Madhya Pradesh, their initiatives encompass education, nutrition, and healthcare for tribal communities across all districts. With a range of programs, including Seva Kutirs, Residential Institutions, Ambulances, Vision Restoration, and Mobile Health Clinics, they’ve touched the lives of lakhs.

  • Seva Kutirs (Education & Nutrition): More than 55,000 poor tribal children being provided with good quality supplementary education along with nutritious meals in 709 Kutirs/centres in as many villages across 16 districts.  
  • Residential Institutions in Madhya Pradesh – 4 residential institutions running for more than 1250 tribal children in 3 districts.   
  • Ambulances: 94 Ambulances in tribal areas of 23 districts working 24*7. In the last 34 months, these have served more than 3 lakh cases.  
  • Vision Restoration: More than 5.5 lakh persons served with general examination, medicines and glasses in more than 4400 eye camps organized in tribal and other rural areas. Out of this, more than 62,000 persons operated for cataract and other eye ailments.

Job Summary: The District/Field Coordinator will oversee and support the smooth execution of Parivar’s programs in provided District. This role involves coordinating activities, managing program operations, and ensuring effective service delivery to underprivileged communities. 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Program Coordination: Assist in the management and monitoring of:
    • Residential campuses for children in Madhya Pradesh.
    • Seva Kutirs (education & nutrition centers) in rural areas.
    • Ambulance services, mobile medical clinics, and vision restoration camps.
    • Administrative Support: Manage scheduling, documentation, and report preparation for various programs.
    • Data & Performance Management: Collect, analyze, and use program data to support decision-making and operational improvements.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and community representatives for smooth program execution.
    • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to organizational policies and prepare reports for stakeholders and management.

Must have skills and competencies :

  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tools. 
  • Ability to multitask, work in field locations, and adapt to dynamic operational needs. 
  • Willingness to travel within Madhya Pradesh as required. 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in operations, administration, or project/program coordination.
