Senior Program Head

Job description

A renowned NGO is looking for a senior professional to lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of all ongoing and upcoming social impact programs, while strengthening internal systems and team capacities.

Key Responsibilities :

• • Overall leadership and oversight of multiple social impact programs
  • Program planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
  • Coordinating with government bodies, corporates, hospitals, educational institutions, and other implementation partners
  • Ensuring compliance with project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
  • Strengthening internal systems, processes, and documentation related to program implementation
  • Mentoring and guiding program teams, field staff, and coordinators
  • Supporting the design and scale-up of new programs and pilots
  • Representing the organisation in review meetings, coordination meetings, and external forums related to program implementation

Must have skills and competencies :

• 7- 10 years of experience in the NGO / CSR / development sector.
• Strong experience and understanding of the CSR ecosystem, with demonstrated ability to manage and implement multi-location and/or multi-sector programmes
• Proven leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination skills
• Good understanding of program monitoring frameworks, reporting, and impact measurement
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
• Proficiency in Hindi, English, and Marathi preferred.
