Associate/Asst. Manager – Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising

Job description

As the Associate/Assistant Manager for Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising, you will lead NGO’s effort in nurturing meaningful corporate and institutional collaborations by supporting the leadership, as well as securing essential funding to advance our mission of positive social transformation. This diverse role requires a blend of business development acumen, proposal crafting skill, deal management expertise, and commitment to advancing impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • 1. Partnership Development & Fundraising
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate partners, philanthropic trusts, HNIs, CSR initiatives, and other funding institutions.
    • Identify, cultivate, and onboard new partnerships through effective lead generation, pitching, and MoU drafting.
    • Collaborate with NGO leadership to design customized fundraising proposals aligned with organizational goals and donor priorities.
    • Research and develop a steady pipeline of potential donors and funding opportunities.
    • Implement sustainable donor engagement and retention strategies to increase long-term support and donation sizes.
  • 2. Program Coordination & Reporting
    • Gather and monitor project data, track progress, and share real-time updates with the central operations and leadership teams.
    • Manage program budgets, ensuring transparent utilization and timely reporting to donors.
    • Coordinate internal teams to ensure seamless execution of fundraising campaigns and partnership activities.
    • Present and communicate project outcomes effectively to stakeholders through reports and presentations. 
  • 3. Systems & Process Management
    • Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes for partnership management, volunteering, and fundraising activities.
    • Manage data, analytics, and funding trackers - including records of MoUs, proposals, and donor databases.
    • Ensure accurate acknowledgment of all grant income and maintain up-to-date documentation.
    • Support leadership and cross-functional teams with relevant information, insights, and communication materials.

Must have skills and competencies :

  • Demonstrated proficiency in networking and building relationships.
  • Skilled in MS Office apps, and basic number crunching.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, coupled with excellent presentation skills.
  • Prior exposure to non-profit organizations working is advantageous but not mandatory.

Educational Requirements

  • Recent management graduates from any specialization, with 0-3 years of experience preferred. Post-graduates will be given preference.
  • Freshers from backgrounds in management or communication or social works are encouraged to apply.
